Cat cafes are the most common type of animal cafe in Tokyo. Most charge by time: a base price for the first 30 or 60 minutes, plus an extension fee every 10 or 15 minutes. Some include free drinks; others ask you to order one drink. The prices below are the total for 60 minutes on a weekday, taken from each cafe's official website.

Typical house rules: wash or sanitize your hands at the entrance, do not wake sleeping cats, no flash photography, and do not pick cats up unless the cafe allows it. Some cafes do not admit small children.
